Upon emailing them I received a response within the same day as well as numerous options for a in-home appointment and service. So they sent  Steven who is one  of the technicians for HVAC. Upon talking with him as well as inspecting the boiler in my basement he immediately came up with a plan. Steven spent a lot of time making sure I understood about what happened and why I was not getting any heat. He discussed with me what needed to be done and he made sure I understood. He completed all of the required work and I was very happy with the money that I spent for my total repair. This is the third time I have used Astera for issues in my home as well as my sister's home. I have been so happy with the service that I receive from Astera and will definitely continue to use them down the road.

I read the Yelp reviews for Astera before I reached out to them, and the 5-star reviews are spot on! I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive!

George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain...  I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended!

He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update.

I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed.

This is my second experience with Astera and have only the highest praise for this business and the people that work there. From the person who answers the phone to the technician who comes out, everyone is friendly and polite. They're great with communication so you know when their techs are coming out. Our Sub-Zero fridge was throwing error codes which they diagnosed and repaired a faulty board. The work was done right and Alex explained everything afterwards. Highly recommend.

I recently had both the heat and hot water go out. I have an old boiler that needed several new parts but otherwise works fine. They recommended regular maintenance but unlike other HVAC companies don't try to sell you a new, much more expensive system. If you appreciate a company that will just fix your problem without upselling you, I would recommend Astera. The techs are friendly and knowledgeable.
